Mary Grett's Science and Sensory Garden

Ms. Karol Light, Teacher and Mr. & Mrs. Johnson, Volunteers have worked endlessly on Mary Grett's Science and Sensory Garden.  This year's vegetable harvest was bountiful.  Our garden has pergolas, flower beds, a vegetable garden and hanging baskets.  Students and staff have worked tirelessly to make this a truly enjoyable experience.  If you visit our school, be sure to come by and visit our garden.

Mary Grett Campus Improvement Plan has been developed and approved by the Planning Decision-Making Team which is made up of elected school employees, community volunteers, business volunteers and parent representatives.

From the Principal

Mary Grett School is a unique school that provides academic instruction, transitional activities, life skills development activities, and actual work site skills development activities for students who are 18-22 years old. Our students are offered many opportunities on a daily basis to develop skills that will allow them to become progressively more independent.

Our staff is an extremely supportive, dedicated, and caring group of teachers, paraprofessionals, and nurses. They work together to enhance the educational opportunities for all of our students. One goal of all of our staff is to work closely with parents, guardians, community members, and work site personnel to meet the needs of our students.

My door is always open to anyone who has a concern or wants to provide insights that will possibly improve the educational experience of our students at Mary Grett.
